Logos Lady Finished and Vinyl Album Cover Project

As a child of the 70's I dreamed of doing album art as an adult.
Then CD's came and albums went away.....but not totally.
Recently I've designed two CD covers for clients, which has now lead me to get hired to do an actual vinyl album cover design for a musician in the Netherlands. I have two months to do the project.
The cool thing about this is that another artist working on artwork for the album is Marijke Koger [link] former member of The Fool which designed a lot of things for The Beatles during their sgt.pepper/magical mystery tour period....she's even mentioned in Syd Barrett's biography as a friend and cohert [link]
I really don't know her, but she was creating art in an era which is very important to me and to now work on the same project with her is a true honor.
So it only took me 30 years to get there, but a real album cover! Very cool indeed.

So after 2 years my Lady of the Logos painting is finally done.
I'm having it scanned tomorrow and will post it in a couple of days.

thank you. I'm quite proud of the packaging artwork actually.....which is one benefit of
actually buying a cd. Don't get me wrong....i love mp3's.....but I still buy CD's and albums because it is nice to get the whole package.....I just love album art.
It was always one of my goals to make album art.....and I am currently designing 3.....which is very cool.
Anyways......thanks again. Nice to have such nice feedback.

thanks for such nice feedback.
nice to hear that the mars player is functioning ok.....
the only thing I don't like about it is that the songs don't all stream continuously (slight pause inbetween each song).....on the CD the songs
all bleed into each other which is the way the concept is designed.

Oh well.....thanks again for checking things out and hope all is well with you.

while gazing at your gallery i felt as though i'd been through it before, yet so much had been added that i felt refreshed with so many things new~~~then i began to see some older stuff and knew what had brought me here again!!!
