Bridge of Sighs - detail 3 by jeffhoppdotnet Bridge of Sighs - detail 3 by jeffhoppdotnet
13x18" prismacolor, pen, ink on paper

Since this drawing has lots of small details, I thought I might post several detail sections.
This is top right corner

Full drawing is currently an entry in the Psychedelic Communities "Dance of Life" contest.......seen here [link]

Yes, my stuff takes a rediculous amount of time. I really don't know where I get the patience sometimes.....I guess it relaxes me.
Thanks for all the favorites. And sorry I didn't get a chance to talk to you down in Tucson. I did get introduced to a number of DA artists attending, but it would of been nice to talk to more.
I did enjoy seeing your work on the screen. I've done other concert type slide shows in the past and it is always fun to see the work projected.
I agree with your journal comments.....it was a bit loud, especially
Dolby's bass (I never heard anything like that before....amazing). I was standing in front of the stage, with the bass speakers were at my chest and I remember reading that people in cars with really loud sub-woofers have actually caused themselves internal organ damage (muscles come loose).....I can see that happening (it was making me kindof sick to my gut). So I moved back a bit. BT wasn't as bassey. My daughter liked Dolby better (it was more dance), but BT was more to my liking.
Anyways, thanks again. I'll have to go check out your gallery now. take care.

I heard everyone got together afterwards, but I didn't know about it, or I would have been there. Thanks for the watch!!!

I hadn't ever been involved in a concert slide show, so it was quite an interesting experience. Glad I'm not the only one who thought the speakers were too loud. I was in the very back of the room, and it was too much there. I was seriously afraid it would damage my ribs, because I have weak structures there anyway.

I liked BT better, too, but if Dolby would tone it down, I think I'd find it more interesting.

I wish I had the patience to do stuff like what you do.

Thanks much, and take care also!
