20x24" oil painting on canvas
A quick oil painting of a small river in Tempe, AZ that only has water in it during the rainy season.....which is not very often. I very rarely work outside the studio so this was not the norm for me to work outdoors and work quickly. The characters were added later after paint dried.....and yes, there is symbolism there if you wish to read into it. And if it is not obvious......yes, I admit it, I love Monet......and this is my feable attempt at impressionism. It may be crude.....but I hope you like it anyways. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
